Staff Selection Commission Karnataka Kerala Region (SSKKR) has published a notification regarding recruitment of 48 Assistant (Legal), Technical Supdt (Processing, Weaving), Senior Technical Assistant, Data Entry Operator and Statistical Assistant vacancies under various departments. Qualification or Eligibility

• Assistant (Legal): Bachelors Degree in Law of a recognised University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or Provincial Act, or a State Act, or any institution for higher education deemed to be a University by the Central Government or any other institution or foreign University approved by the Central Government and 2 Years experience in legal matters in Central or State Government or Public Sector Undertakings or listed Private Sector Organisations.

• Technical Supdt (Processing): 4 (four) Years Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Processing or Textile Chemistry or Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor or Technology in Textile Processing or Textile Chemistry from a recognized University or Institute and 2 Years experience as a Shift-in Charge/Dyer /Bleacher/Finisher/Dyeing Master/ Printing  Master/ Textile  Processing  Assistant /Laboratory Technician/Demonstrator (Processing)/Supervisor, handling work relating to bleaching or dyeing or printing or finishing, etc. in a textile processing factory/processing or dye house/dyeing  aboratory/handloom establishment.
OR
Diploma in Handloom Technology or Diploma in Handloom and Textile Technology from a recognized University or Institute and Post Diploma in Textile Chemistry or Textile Processing from a recognised University or Institute and 2 years experience as a Shift-in Charge/Dyer/Bleacher/Finisher/Dyeing Master/Printing  Master/Textile  Processing  Assistant/Lab
Technician/Demonstrator (Processing)/Supervisor, handling work relating to bleaching or dyeing or printing or finishing in a textile processing factory/processing or dye house/dyeing laboratory/handloom establishment.

• Technical Supdt (Weaving): Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Technology or three years Diploma in Handloom Technology or Handlooms and Textile Technology from a recognised University or Institute and 2 (two) years practical experience as Shift - in - Charge for Degree holders and 3 (three) years for Diploma Holders in a Textile Weaving or Production Establishment or Corporation or Institution, out of which, atleast one year should be in Handlooms dealing with all the different techniques of production as well as analysis and costing of handloom fabrics including traditional varieties and special fabrics of all fibres and their blends, dismantling, erecting and working of different types handlooms and handloom accessories such as jacquards, dobbies, jalas and experience of guiding and controlling the activities of the weavers in the production of fabrics with new designs and textures as well as organise production of commercial samples using improved accessories and appropriate techniques of production.

• Senior Technical Assistant: Degree in Agriculture followed by Post Graduate Degree in any branch of the Agricultural Sciences from a recognised University or equivalent.

• Data Entry Operator Grade B (AFHQ/ ISOs): Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics/Mathematical Statistics/Computer Science of a recognised University or equivalent and Should possess a speed of not less than 8000 key Depressions per hour for Data Entry Work.

• Data Entry Operator Grade B (Air OH): Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics/Mathematical Statistics/Computer Science of a recognised University or equivalent and Should possess a speed of not less than 8000 key Depressions per hour for Data Entry Work.

• Data Entry Operator Grade B (IDS/ SI): Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics/Mathematical Statistics/Computer Science of a recognised University or equivalent and Should possess a speed of not less than 8000 key Depressions per hour for Data Entry Work.

• Statistical Assistant: Degree in Mathematics or Statistics or Economics from a recognised University or Equivalent.

Age Limit: For all other posts candidates need not to be more than 30 years except for Data Entry Operator and Statistical Assistant need not to be more than 25 years. Age relaxation is upto 40 years in case of Government Employees in accordance with the instructions of orders issued by the Central Government).

Pay Scale

• Assistant (Legal): Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/-
• Technical Supdt (Processing & Weaving)/Senior Technical Assistant: Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-
• Data Entry Operator Grade B (AFHQ/ ISOs & Air OH & IDS/ SI): Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/-
• Statistical Assistant: Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/-.

Selection process

Proficiency Test, Screening Test and Interview.

Application fee

Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty only). No fee for Women candidates, Physically Handicapped, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Ex-S. However, no fee concession would be admissible to Ex-S who would otherwise be considered as general candidates. Such candidates are required to pay the requisite fee.
Fee concession is not admissible to sons, daughters, and dependents of Ex-S. Service clerks in the last year of their colour service are not exempted from payment of fee.
Candidates may pay fee online as per direction given Para 8 of Official Notification.

How To Apply

Candidates needs to send the application form which is available at the Official Website. Applications should be submitted to the Regional Director as per the address given in the notice.
Applications submitted on a format which is not exactly the same as published in the website are liable to be rejected summarily.
Alongwith application candidates need to send attested copies of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps of Rs.50/- affixed and clearly cancelled on the application form, one recent passport size photograph to be pasted on the application, two self-addressed envelopes of 12 cms x 25 cms size, one of which should be affixed with postage stamps worth Rs.6/-, caste certificate, qualification certificates and mark sheets, Documents in support of claim of age relaxation, experience certificates, self attested copies of certificates and mark lists, Candidates in Govt. service are to attach an undertaking that they have informed in writing their Head of Office/ Department that they have applied for the post and envelope should be superscribed in bold letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ——ADVERTISED VIDE CATEGORY NO —– OF ADVT. NO. KKR- —-” to
