MP Postal vacancy for 374 Postman and MailGuard Posts

Department of Posts, Office of the Post Master General, Madhya Pradesh Postal Circle issued notification for the recruitment of 374 Postman and MailGuard Posts. The interested candidates may apply till 5th May 2016.

Details

Madhya Pradesh Post is one among the 22 Postal Circles in the country. The Circle manages the day-to-day functioning of various Head Post Offices, Sub-Post Offices and Branch Post Offices through their Regional and Divisional level arrangements. MP Circle is divided into 2 Regions(Indore Region and H.Q. Region) comprising of 20 postal divisions and 3 RMS divisions.

Qualifictaion or Eligibility

Candidates should possess Matriculation or Equivalent from a recognized board or University.

The applicants should possess valid Medical certificate in the forms prescribed by the Government issued by competent Medical authorities for the purpose of employment, as on the date of Registration.

Pay Scale

Rs. 5200 – 20200 (Pay Band – I) Grade pay Rs. 2000

Age Limit: 
18 to 27 years for General candidates. Age relaxation is shown in below chart


Selection procedure

The marks obtained in Aptitude test will be taken to draw merit in each division and selection will be purely on merit basis. It is further stated that If two or more candidates secure equal marks in Aptitude test and they are standing in the last position in the merit list, then it is clearly stated that the candidate senior in age will be considered for selection.

Application Fee

• For Application Form: Rs 100 mandatory for all categories of applicants who have registered.
• Examination Fee: The Examination fee prescribed for all Male applicants in Un-Reserved and OBC categories is Rs. 400/-. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes/ Physically Handicapped/ Women are exempted from payment of Examination Fee.
